The third International Conference “Labyrinth and Piano Key Weirs 2017” was held in Quy Nhon city.

   On the of 2nd February, 2017 , many international researchers and engineers have visited to Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh province) for attending the 3rd International Conference “Labyrinth and Piano Key Weirs 2017”, which was collaborated between  International Colds,  Viet Nam Colds, taking place from  22th to 24th of February in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. The Conference with the participation of 50 large spillway’s experts from over the world. At the conference, the experts gave reported speeches relating to  the successful application of the spillway with piano key weirs. Furthermore, the experts also shared great experience to help the technique to be more and more effective in the future.

   The attendants have visited two large dams of Binh Dinh Province as Dinh Binh Dam in Vinh Thanh District and Van Phong Dam in Tay Son District.  Van Phong Dam is one of constructed one with spillway of largest piano fret in the world. It is also one of the largest irrigation works of Vietnam, built by the construction Joint-Stock company 47, considered as a safe and economical construction by some experts’ evaluation.

   The conference firstly held in Vietnam as well as in Seagull Hotel Quy Nhon that honorably selected as the venue for the special occasion. This is also an opportunity for Vietnam’s researchers, International engineers and experts around the world to meet, exchange and share knowledge, experience and technical research. Moreover, the conference also created moreopportunities for Vietnam"s young engineers who are exposed to the advanced science of the world, and integrate into the community of international science and technology.
